Did I do wrong to my girlfriend? Or, What should I do?

Any girl who will test you was dating you for the wrong reasons. It sounds like she was telling the truth when she said she wasn't ready for a relationship. It's because she wasn't. She's upset, but not for what you think. For some reason, many girls want to break up with a guy, and want the guy to keep pining for her. I call it "the layaway plan". It lets them go and do as they please, and then they can always come back to you if they find out they can't do all the things that they thought being single was going to get them. You basically (unintentionally) let her know that you're not available to be put on hold. If she truly wants you, she'll come back...but would you really want someone who left you to begin with?
