Will the old model of ps3(not slim) of 120volts. will it work with an adapter in 220V country?

So i live in America but i go to school in thailand, and i want to bring my ps3 to thailand so i can play:). i just want to make sure that my ps3 was gona be ok while using an adapter. and is there anything with the Hz that could be a problem?
